- Remember to finish off every outfit with the right accessories.
- A one buttoned jacket and long trousers will instantly slim the body.
- If you have larger thighs go for boot cut trousers to make them appear slimmer.
- To create longer, leaner legs add a pair of high heels to your outfit.
- Avoid wearing trousers too high and too tight on the waist. Choose a heavier fabric in a larger size if necessary.
- Don’t wear horizontal stripes if your aim is to look slimmer.
- Vertical lines and chevron will help slim down and flatter the torso.
- If you have got great legs don’t be afraid to show them off in a skirt. If you are pear shaped' A' line skirts are much more flattering than pencil skirts.
- If your too afraid to wear a lot of colour why not try adding a colourful scarf to a black ensemble.
- Every good outfit should have a good foundation so the right underwear is very important.
- Be careful of wearing white and pastel shades in less expensive fabrics as they are not very forgiving.
- Choose tops that overlap the tops of your trousers to avoid displaying unwanted bulges.
- Avoid high and polo necks if you are top heavy. Stick to scoop and v-necks.
- A good hairstyle can finish off a look therefore it's important to have regular cuts with a reputable hairdresser.

- Keep team sports tops strictly for the gym or the football field.
- As a rule leave the double breasted jacket at home.
- The first thing a woman notices is your shoes so take note and stick to simple classic black or brown pairs.
- Narrow jeans are a big no no! Choose a loose fit or gentle boot cut style that comes over your shoes.
- Why not team your suit jacket or blazer with a pair of casual jeans and a vintage t- shirt or a smart shirt.
- A t-shirt under a v-neck jumper is an easy way of making an outfit look more modern especially when worn with a nice blazer.
- Some trainers are made for running and others are for everyday use. Do not mix the two!
- Even the buffest of males should steer clear of overly tight tops. It’s not a good look.
- Always wear nice, plain, clean underwear in case you get lucky or ... run over by a bus!!
- A well fitting coat or jacket finishes off a look.
- Maintain your overall look by having a good quality hair cut.
- White socks with black shoes. NO!
